as an Investment
Racehorses are often seen as a
luxury item and an expensive pursuit for men by many of their
wives, however they can be an investment enjoyed by all and need
not be a drain on capital, indeed they can provide many days of
pleasure in the summer on the racecourse while the winter evenings
can be spent reliving the many victories and triumphs, safe in the
knowledge the investment has increased its value and become an
asset and not a liability.
These are just a few examples of some recent purchases that have
proved very successful investments and provided unique experiences
for their new owners. You will notice that the Return on capital
invested is very healthy!

IRON LAD (2000) A 24000IR£ yearling who won over
£23,000 and was sold for 62000gs to USA at the end of his two
year old season |

£150,000 and whose owner refused a bid of £250,000 as a three
year old. |

old career for £ 140,000. |

first win at 2 years . She was retained to go to Stud. |

22000gs carrying BERBICE in 2004 . Sold in 2008 for 55000 gns
